Profile

Suman Giri, PhD
I am passionate about impactful problem-solving at scale through intelligent use of data and design. I am a tinkerer at heart, and like to spend my time dabbling in new things. Statistician Peter Bickel when asked to summarize his life, once described it as a random walk with a drift, and I can’t think of a better way to describe my own path. That said, I have spent a significant portion of my career in various data related leadership roles in the healthcare domain. Lately, my interest has been in driving innovation in organizations through development of analytic products. When I am not doing that, I am either writing (prose or poetry), playing soccer, or reading a book. I spend an inordinate amount of time thinking about human behavior, systems, history of civilizations, and inefficiencies in our day-to-day life. If you reach out to me about any of these topics, I will probably respond.
