My research focused on Machine Learning applications of IoT data in residential settings. For my thesis, I worked on the problem of energy disaggregation where the goal is to estimate appliance-level energy consumption by using building level electricity data collected at a single point.

I serve two primary functions as part of my role. On the client side, I lead pre-sales, technical design, and delivery of our data science engagements. And on the innovation side, I lead the development of analytic products for the healthcare market. I am also involved in growth, transformation, strategy, and recruitment.

In this role, I led a team of PhD data scientists that built products to enable customer engagement focused analytics throughout the organization using technologies like AI, NLP, RPA, etc. My proudest achievement was my contribution in architecting and executing Highmark’s $1 M portfolio of collaborative research ventures with Carnegie Mellon University.
